Creative Arts & Music

The Creative Arts Department at Getwell Road offers opportunities for persons of all ages to glorify God through voice, instrument, drama and dance. John 4 tells us that God seeks "true worshipers" who worship Him in spirit and truth. As the corporate body of worshipers at Getwell Road UMC continues to grow and mature in our understanding of "true" worship, participants in the Creative Arts are encouraged to take their role as worship leaders seriously. Whether we sing in a choir or praise team, play an instrument, sing a solo, or dance, we are leading people in worship of our Father.  We seek excellence in each musical offering we create for worship, and our deepest desire is that God will use what we have created for the advancement of His kingdom, but we know that only God can change a heart.  It is a joy and privilege to be instruments and vessels in that mission.
